The People's Centre has excellent rooms of various sizes available for hire. These facilities are used by a wide range of local individuals and groups. The income generated helps the Centre provide its services.

The Green Room, pictured on the right, can accommodate 50 or 60 people. It is bright, with plenty of natural light and a wooden floor. It is popular for meetings, salsa dancing classes, training events etc.

For those booking rooms at the Centre our on-site cafe will arrange catering if required, whether a full buffet or teas/coffee with light refreshments. We cater for specialist diets - e.g wheat-free, vegetarian and a variety of ethnic cuisines.

We also hire out the equipment:

• Flip charts
• Overhead projector
• Projection screen

The Main Hall (left) holds about 40 people and is popular with groups such as the art & glass group which meets there on Wednesday mornings. It is also used for meetings, yoga classes and a wide variety of other activities.

The cost of hiring our rooms is very reasonable, catering as we do to the budgets of local groups.
