The Printroom at Wallsend People's Centre is run as a community business, Tyneside Community Press. Our aim is to provide a professional yet friendly and affordable service for community and voluntary organisations as well as for start-up businesses. We offer a design service using industry standard software such as Quark XPress, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop and can handle customer's files created on popular packages such as Microsoft Word and Publisher. For output we have a Rex-Rotary printer-copier (capable of up to 4 colours) and Canon colour copier (both can print up to A3). We also have a very high quality film scanner (Epson F-3200) which handles film - transparency or negative - from 35mm to 5"x4" sheet film. Restoration of old or damaged film/prints is offered and we can produce lab quality prints up to A3 on photo paper on our Epson R1800 inkjet - phone or email for details. We design and print a wide range of products - ranging from simple one colour flyers through letterheads, business cards, brochures and leaflets to full colour newsletters and annual reports.
